Traveling to Mexico (San Miguel de Allende)

The picture didn't turn out very good, but I'll introduce everybody anyway. Left to right: Dave Bassett, Herman van Beek, Bo Griffin, Bobby Fox and Robert Whitley (picture taken at the Road House Restaurant in Laredo the night before departure into Mexico)

Robert riding along in 39 degree temperatures

A wet spot on my lense reflecting the wet weather we had between Laredo and Monterrey

Dave is tredging along (wet and cold doesn't mix well)

Herman is making the best of what was the worst part of our trip south

A little construction along the way

Finally started breaking out of the crud and the day looked much much better

Bobby taking advantage of a roadside cafe

Stopping in Matehuala for lunch

A youngster taking a photo opportunity

It's above 70 degrees and we've decided to just have lunch next to our bikes

The streets in downtown San Luis Potosi remind me a lot about Italy

Walking the streets of San Luis takes you by several street vendors

We opted to eat indoors at a restaurant recommended by our hotel. It worked out real nice.

Just outside the restaurant, they started a light show up against one of the buildings

Very entertaining

Constantly flashing new scenes

And, there were other characters amongst the crowd.

I couldn't stop shooting photos of the changing lights

More

And more

And more

Several of the crowd members were creating mini hot air balloons and launching them

Off, it goes.

The main church on the main square

Inside the very popular church and all it's grandeur

Hey, how did I lose control of the camera?

Another perspective

Bobby, Robert, Dave and Herman discussing tomorrow's plan

Hotel Maria Christina is where we stayed tonight
