We're off to Hyder, AK

Hyder to Prince Rupert

July, 2010

Sunday

Today was an easy day riding down to Prince Rupert, so we can catch the ferry tomorrow. We lurked around Hyder trying to spot some Eagles before we left. We had some good fortune in doing that.

We had two brave souls that committed to the Hyderization process last night. I was not one of them. Maybe some day (I'll have to come back)

Parked near the restaurant last night
Herman and Rob discussing something in the middle of the street?
Our hostess of the Grandview Inn
This is a good spot to hang out.
This is the closest I could get to a mature Bald Eagle
Will the real Jim please stand up
This, on the other hand, is a young Bald Eagle. They say that they don't get their white feathers until they get some maturity.
Parked at Stewart, BC to have breakfast
Joy is getting a little trigger happy while going down the road
Leaving Hyder
There's another bear crossing the road. We saw several today.
Taking a break along the Skeena River
Skeena River (we rode next to it for 100 miles)
